Suzuki Swift S-Concept to Debut at Geneva

Suzuki Swift S-Concept to Debut at Geneva

Suzuki has released a teaser image of its new Swift concept which is scheduled to debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1.

Dubbed the ‘Swift S-Concept’, the vehicle is a possible preview of the upcoming Suzuki Swift Sport. However, the computer generated image reveals little about the manufacturer’s intentions and no mechanical or powertrain details have been released.

The only admission made by Suzuki so far is that the “more sporty and exciting” look is part of a development concept to create “a premium sport compact with uncompromised performance”.

Noticeable changes from the standard Swift arethe added roof spoiler and flared wheel arches, as well as the reworked air intakes and radiator grille.

It is unknown whether the S-concept will be powered by the same 1.6-litre engine as the current Swift Sport, or by a completely different one, but Suzuki has promised to reveal more details at the official unveiling in Switzerland.

And teaser mania continues, is this going to be a rival to the Mini Cooper S and Clio Sport?

Probably not, 'cause the car needs to be enlarged.
