-fighting compact crossover that will go on sale in Europe in 2015. It will be built in Hungary with the slightly larger SX4 S-Cross (pictured above) that goes on sale this fall. 

The SX4 replacement, which may or may not keep the name, will use a shortened version of the SX4 S-Cross' platform but with more striking design. 

Powertrains for the new car will include petrol and diesel four-cylinders in front- or all-wheel drive.
