Hyundai has shown at this year's Pebble Beach a concept that serves as a preview of the next generation of premium models of the brand, especially the new Genesis Coupé. The
Vision G shows the future of the brand's design.
The conception of this new design line was made in the United States on the scope of design director Peter Schreyer. The two-door, four-seater concept was designed so as not to draw too much attention around the idea that "one does not need to shout to be noticed and respected."
The main feature is the large front grille, different from the one which appears in the current generation of the
Genesis saloon. At the end of the sloping rear is a new design of the lights and also double exhaust pipes embedded in the bumpers. In order to give a minimal look to the concept the interior trimming was made in leather and wood.
At the heart of the Vision G is a V8 engine with 5.0 liter, 420hp and 519Nm of torque, the same powertrain featured in the saloon variant in the United States.
In terms of technological novelties, the Vision G features a system that opens the doors automatically as the driver approaches the vehcile.
