Volvo Improves Fleet CO2 Average for 2011

has published its sustainability statistics for 2011 and the first part of 2012. Its fleet CO2 emissions average is down to 151g/km of CO2, down 4% from last year and down 20% in the last five years. Even with cleaner cars, global sales are up 20.3% in 2011 to 449,255 cars, and it has the goal of selling 800,000 cars worldwide by 2020.
