Nissan updated the 370z in 2012 in North America over the summer, and Europe saw the refreshed model at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

The upgrades to the 370z include LED running lights, new 18in wheels and two new colors, Midnight Blue and Magma Red. Sport models get new 19in wheels, red brake calipers and a retuned, sportier suspension. Finally, the Nismo model gets a new different set of 19in wheels, new brakes and a Bose stereo. The upgraded brakes in the Nismo model include high rigidity brake hoses and high temperature brake fluid. The Bose stereo system includes a 6 CD changer, Bluetooth and an auto-dimming mirror.

The engines and transmissions in the upgraded cars remain identical.
