The route covered 4,501 feet through the pass. Barlia reached speeds of 210km/h (130mph) and came within six meters of the side of the mountain.
Pyzera and Barlia wore a biometric harness called JukeRide that monitors heart rate, brainwaves, reaction times and other data.
"That was absolutely amazing, I could see Dave up above me and I just had to concentrate and get in the zone to beat him down,” said Pyzera. “Afterwards we looked at the data we gathered from wearing the biometric harnesses, which monitor my biometric data, and I could see when I was totally focused. While this is fun, it is serious business.”
