The for-us look points at a vehicle destined to young and young-at-heart, which combines the importance to low emissions while taking up minimum road space. The smart for-us brings pick-ups to the reality of the 21st century urban traffic.

With dimensions that make it almost unnoticed on the loading area of a typical pickup (length/width/height: 3547/1506/1701mm), the smart for-us is powered by a zero-emission state-of-the-art electric drive with a 55 kW magneto-electric motor.

To pull it away from the production fortwo, smart has pushed the for-us concept into the pick-up level with a large brand emblem located on a front grille. The front has a pronounced three-dimensional design with an under ride guard finishing off the lower part of the front end.

The pick-up robust look of the concept has also been emphasized by the longer wheelbase (2480 mm/plus 613 mm) and the track that has been widened by 50 mm. Still it features extremely short overhangs at the front and rear, making it very compact.

With a cargo area of 900mm, the for-us tailboard at the rear is electrically driven. The area of cargo makes everything easy to access.
