is working with a consortium of UK businesses on the Rapid Charge Network project to create an infrastructure of EV chargers that run the length and breadth of the United Kingdom and Ireland. So far, the project has installed 74 chargers over 1,100km of UK highways.

and will install a network of multi-standard EV chargers by the end of 2014 that apple to the 44kW DC CCS, 44 kW DC Chademo or 43 kW AC charging standards. The project will collect data on users, charging time and the best way to pay for it.
