Valtteri Bottas Will Drive for Williams Next Season

He is the second confirmed rookie in F1 for next season.

has confirmed that Valtteri Bottas will replace Bruno Senna in Formula 1 next season. Pastor Maldonado will remain with Williams for next season. Bottas has been Williams' test driver and reserve driver since 2010.

Bottas has been very successful climbing up the open wheel racing ranks. He was Formula Renault 2.0 champion in the Europe and Northern Europe regions in 2008, Formula 3 champion in 2009 and 2010 and GP3 champion in 2011. This season he worked for Williams full time. 

‘’It has always been my life-long dream to compete in the Formula One World Championship. To do so with one of the most legendary teams in the sport is incredibly special. I’ve really enjoyed my three years with Williams so far and feel very at home here so my goal was always to stay for 2013 and progress to a race seat. I’m looking forward to getting my Formula One career started and enjoying a lot of success with Williams," said Bottas. 

The other confirmed rookie for Formula 1 next season is Esteban Gutierrez who will drive alongside Nico Hulkenberg at SauberSauberSauberSwitzerland, 1970 > present21 models
