that competed in 1997 in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. During the development of the 675LT, McLaren focused on optimizing the aerodynamic performance, increased downforce, driver engagement, power and weight reduction.

Under the bonnet, the 675LT will be powered by a 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, and as shown in the model name it will have 675hp. With this engine the model can reach 100km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 330km/h. Like it happens in the 650S, the engine was combined with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

In the construction of the 675LT McLaren will make extensive use of carbon fiber and aerodynamic features, and other lightweight materials in the engine, body and chassis in order to reduce the weight to 1230kg. This value is 100kg less than the 650S.

In terms of design the major differences between the 650S and the 675LT are the carbon fiber wings and the circular titanium exhaust tips, placed in a more central area to improve cooling. They are just above the new bumper and rear diffuser, both made of carbon fiber.

In front the new 675LT receives a higher carbon fiber splitter and a fully reshaped bumper in order to improve cooling and downforce by channelling the air to the rear of the car through various aerodynamic details.

Although it has not been revealed, McLaren says that the interior will be focused on the driver, with seats inspired on the ones featured on the P1.
