The SL 417 Mille Miglia celebrates the 60th anniversary of the victory of the SL driven by the American John Fitch in its class in the 1955 edition of the famous Italian road competition. The number 417 of the limited edition name refers to the number of the car driven by Fitch.

Available in SL 400Mercedes-Benz SL 400 417 ...Germany, 2015 > 2015, with a 333hp 3.0 V6 engine, and in SL 500Mercedes-Benz SL 500 417 ...Germany, 2015 > 2015, with a 455hp 4.6 V8 engine, variants the SL 417 Mille Miglia is standardly equipped with adaptive damping and optionally fitted with the Active Body Control system.

The SL 417 Mille Miglia will be sold as standard with a metallic black painting, although it can be ordered with three other optional colors: black (night magna black) and two tones of white (cashmere white magna matt and diamond white).

The limited edition also receives some visual changes including red details on the front and rear bumpers, red brake calipers and red accents on the alloy wheels. Inside new trimming was introduced in red and carbon fiber, as well as black and red leather seats, new trim on the steering wheel and also the 417 Mille Miglia insignia sewn in the headrests.

The special edition SL 417 Mille Miglia will have a limited production of 500 units.
