Versatile dimensions

The Crossland X is 4212mm long, 1765mm wide and 1590mm high. However the compact dimensions hide a very versatile vehicle with a class leading trunk volume of 410mm. Besides, at the back passengers are capable of adjusting the seating position by 150mm in longitudinal direction. This allows to increase legroom or cargo capacity depending on the necessities.

Design

Replacing the Meriva in Opel's range the Crossland X has replaced the minivan looks by a more rugged design which includes a bigger ground clearance as well as plastic cladding over the wheel arches.

At the front the new SUV gets the new Opel shield-shaped grille with sharp-shaped headlights combined with the L-shaped LED daytime running lights. On the sides the design is highlighted by the chrome trimmed strip placed above the doors which creates an illusory floating roof.

Placed on the intersection between the trunk lid and the roofline, the highly mounted split rear lights also feature the ‘double-wing’ graphic.

Engines

Technical specifications of the new Crossland X are yet to be revealed. However because the new model shares mechanical parts with the Peugeot 20082008 Gen.1Peugeot 2008 Gen.1France, 2012 > present58 versions

Technology

The Opel Crossland X will be availabe as standard with the  Onstar onboard assistance and wi-fi hotspot system, with the infotainment set-up being compatible with both  Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The SUV will also be equipped with a 180deg panoramic rear-view camera and safety technology will also include forward collision alert, lane keeping assist, speed limit sign recognition. Heated steering wheel and windscreen will also be available.

Customers will be able to choose a contrasting colour for the roof and a panoramic glass roof will be available as an optional.
