at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. It will be available with hybrid, diesel and petrol engines at introduction. The car was designed in the UK and will be built at Toyota's factory in Derbyshire. Toyota says that it is improving the interior quality of the car but will make it cheaper to run.

The new Auris will be offered with a hybrid, 1.4-liter diesel, 1.33-liter petrol and 1.6-liter petrol engine options. Toyota expects that sales will be split equally among the hybrid, diesel and petrol engines.
