. It upgrades the interior and exterior to make them sportier, but it leaves the mechanicals alone. The R-Line is separated into two packages for the interior and exterior. 

The exterior package includes a new front bumper with black air inlets and chrome trim around the directional indicators, rear diffuser, side sills, door mirror housings in body color, R-Line logos, 18in wheels or optional 19in black wheels. 

The interior package adds sport seats trimmed in Kyalami or black Vienna leather and front head restraints with R-Line badges. The gearshift, handbrake and steering wheel are trimmed in leather, and it adds Dark Vanadium trim. 

Only the Beetle Sport can be ordered with the R-Line package. It comes with either a 1.4 TSI with 160ps, a 2.0 TSI with 200ps or a 2.0 TDI with 140ps.

The exterior package costs €1,290, and the interior package costs €1,675. 

 The Beetle Sport is available with a 1.4 TSI (118 kW/160 PS), 2.0 TSI (147 kW/200 PS) or 2.0 TDI (103 kW/140 PS). The additional price for the R-Line exterior package is available at
