to gentlemen drivers in a one-make racing series similar to Lamborghini's Super Trofeo series.  

Bentley says that the Continental GT3 will make its racing debut at the end of 2013, but it will not be offered to customer teams until the 2014 season at the earliest.

where well-healed drivers would show up to a car already prepared to race. The car could be slightly detuned from the full GT3 version, though not necessarily. 

The series would like to have series in North America, Europe and Asia, but expect it to be limited only to Europe for at least the first season. 

Bentley is already considering a street version inspired by the GT3 car.

“Our dealers are by definition car nuts,” said Kevin Rose, head of sales and marketing at Bentley.
