BMW Shows Off M235i Racing on Snowy Runway

revealed the M235i Racing as its new entry-level customer racing car, but now it has released a video showing the car on a snowy runway actually driving. 

The M235I Racing is based on the M235iM235i Coupé RacingBMW M235i Coupé RacingGermany, 2013 > present road car and uses the same 3.0-liter inline six turbocharged engine with 328hp (333ps). It replaces the M3 GT4M3 GT4BMW M3 GT4Germany, 2009 > present4 photos
as BMW's customer racecar and will retail for €59,500, excluding local taxes, when it goes on sale early next year.

The car is meant for regional racing series, and BMW believes that it will be especially popular in events like the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring and Nürburgring VLN series.

It addition to the M Performance tuned engine, it has a modified body with larger fenders to accept wider tires. The anti-lock brakes, stability control and traction control have all been retuned to racing use. It also comes standard with a mechanical limited slip differential at the rear, and FIA-certified roll cage and FIA-certified fuel tank.
