President Dr. Wolfgang Schreiber said during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance that a more powerful Veyron is not coming. The 1,600hp final edition of the VeyronBugatti VeyronGermany, 2000 > present27 versions

However, Schreiber says that a replacement for the Veyron is being developed, but it is still a few years away. Bugatti committed to building 450 Veyrons, of which 390 have been made. Bugatti will not reveal the replacement until the current car is sold out, which is expected around 2015

Schreiber also announced that all future Veyrons will use the 1,200hp version of the car's 16-cylinder engine from the Super SportBugatti Veyron Super SportGermany, 2010 > present7 photos
