Aston Martin is launching a special edition for DBS and V12 Vantage models. The brand’s two top-of-the-range sports cars will receive a Carbon Black makeover.
The two models will be undergoing 50 man-hours of hand painting followed by rigorous quality checks. They will be featuring the modified Carbon Black metallic paint especially formulated with a subtle metallic twist to create a deep rich patina.
The V12 Vantage will see its side strake fashioned from real carbon fibre backed by a black mesh and complimented with gloss black 10 spoke diamond turned alloy wheels. Exterior detail is completed by the bright finished grille and front parking sensors.
With everything being hand-stitched by the craftspeople at Gaydon – Aston Martin’s global headquarters in England – the interior will greet customers with Obsidian Black leather highlighted with a contrast silver coarse stitch
The Carbon Black editions will also feature lightweight seats formed from Carbon Fibre and Kevlar saving 17 kg over the standard seat as well as a Piano black fascia trim, centre stack and centre console, anodized black tread plates and plaques build on the carbon theme.
By ordering the V12 Vantage Carbon Black customers will also have the opportunity to experience Aston Martin’s renowned Performance Driving Course.
Although the final price will only be confirmed in the New Year (expected to be approximately 5% over current base prices) the Carbon Black Editions can already be ordered at the official Aston Martin dealership network.
