American automotive magazine Car and Driver just did an interview with Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa where he confirmed that a successor to the Enzo will be coming sometime in 2012, and it will be powered by a hybrid V12. Felisa did not say anything about power figures, but it is safe to assume it will be north of the 651hp that the Enzo made.
Felisa also discussed the successor to the 599 that will also be shown in 2012. He said that the body will be made from aluminum. The new 599 will be at least as powerful as the 700hp Lamborghini Aventador.
It looks like 2012 will be a very interesting year for Ferrari.
