First images of new Ferrari FF released

Ferrari has just released the first images of the new Ferrari FF (Ferrari Four). A four-seater, four-wheel drive V12 model which will make its debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show (March 1-13).

The new Ferrari FF is the Italian brand's first four-wheel drive model ever, a fact reflected in the car’s name 'Ferrari Four' (four sears, four-wheel drive). The brand claims it is a revolution for the GT sports car concept, and owners will be able to use it for their city driving, on low grip or snow-covered surfaces as well as on the track.

The four-wheel drive system 4RM has been developed and patented by Ferrari. The company claims it weights half as much as conventional 4x4 systems and allows for a perfect weight distribution. It is integrated with the car’s electronic dynamic control systems, and delivers performance on all terrains and in all conditions via continuous and predictive torque distribution to all four wheels.

In terms of performance, the FF relies on a new 6,262 cc direct injection engine, delivering 660 CV at 8,000 rpm. Acceleration figures at 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.

Besides delivering high performance levels, the car is spacious enough for four passengers plus luggage. Boot capacity is 450 litres, extendable to 800).

Its design, developed by Pininfarina, embodies the versatility of the FF, its sporty character and its usability.
Personalisation options and accessories, including six model-specific exterior colours and interior trim, will be available to the customers.
