Car Magazine reports that Lexus is planning an even faster version of its LFA that will debut at the Tokyo Auto Show in December. The LFA Tokyo Edtion will have a bare carbon-fiber roof, the current LFA's is already carbon-fiber but this version will be unpainted similar to the BMW M3 Coupe. The car will also get some kind of performance upgrade, but that is still speculation at the moment.
Toyota is also planning to revive the Supra. However, details are still very sparse, and the car likey will not be at the Tokyo show.
There are also rumors of a more performance-oriented version of the Lexus CT200h.
Toyota has ignored performance for most of the past decade, and it is nice to see that it is at least considering bringing more speed to its line-up. Whatever it does, expect hybrids to somehow be tied in. The faster models in the Lexus GS and LS lines have already been hybrid-powered, and there is nothing to show a change in direction.
