. It will have a rear-mounted engine powering the rear wheels. It is possible that it may get an electrified version like the Twin-Z, but most of the cars will use conventional engines.
Far less is known about the next generation Espace. Renault has noticed that MPV sales are falling quickly in favor of crossovers and SUVs. It has hinted that it might morph the car into a large crossover for the new generation. A concept version is expected later this year.
