The Chrysler Group LLC has revealed the first pictures and info on the American version of the Fiat 500 Sport. The Italian brand in partnership with Chrysler is arriving at the end of the year to American soil with its reborn and re-imagined Fiat 500.
Yet to reveal the adaptations for the standard versions of the 500, Chrysler has announced some information about the Sport version that will be powered by the world-class 1.4-liter engine with Fiat’s state-of-the-art MultiAir™ technology.
Fitted with a sport-tuned suspension the Fiat 500 Sport will also feature athletically styled front and rear fascias with a larger grille and flared aerodynamic treatment. The 16-inches wheels with Mineral Gray painted pockets and the new bodyside sill cladding are also responsible for the enhancement of the cars sportive look.
The athletic appearance of the 500 Sport is completed with the Performance Red painted brake calipers, the chromed exhaust tip and the gloss black shadow-line window trim. The Sport version will also include a sunroof. The Fiat 500 will also be available in Pop and Lounge trim.
According to Chrysler Fiat 500’s technology, driving dynamics and interior features have been adapted for the North American market. With orders starting at the end of the year in Sport, Pop and Lounge models, the 500C has already its aunch predicted for the 2011 spring.
