Opel Plans New And Sporty Insignia For 2015

completely for 2015. The new generation will, according to the report, differ significantly from its predecessor, its design being much more sporty and based on the FlextremeFlextreme GT/E ConceptOpel Flextreme GT/E ConceptGermany, 2010 > 20103 photos
concept presented in 2010.

The styling will show a flatter roofline, distinctive front and all-LED headlamps, alltogether a more dynamic look than that of the current generation. Technological innovations include a new range of engines that Opel launches already in 2013, and an eight-speed automatic transmission which is still being developed.

I have to say, that this concept looks a bit like a Volt with some...first generation Volt concept. I don't know.

I like it actually. The more sporty Opel designs have worked very well lately for the Astra for example. I hope the Insignia gets its share too. Has been looking a bit boooring so far.

I like it too, but it looks a lot like a shooting break. I really wanna see what sporty engines will be offered. A bi turbo V6?
