hatchback with its new spindle grill, a higher quality interior and lower interior noise.

The biggest exterior change to the CT200h is the addition of the Lexus spindle grill that now adorns all of the company’s models. The rear bumper has a more horizontal look with L-shaped reflectors and a black lower section. It also gets new 10-spoke 16in and 17in wheel designs and a shark fin roof antenna.

The interior benefits for higher quality materials. The steering wheel is the same 370mm unit from the new Lexus ISLexus IS Gen.3Lexus Lexus IS Gen.3Japan, 2013 > present18 versions

, and there is a 4.2in display between the instruments on the panel. The infotainment system is controlled by Lexus’ second-generation remote touch interface, which is supposed to be more user friendly. The voice recognition has also been improved. The infotainment screen displays the new rearview camera. Lexus has also added a tire pressure warning system and “off” setting for the traction control. In terms of trim, Lexus is adding new colors and wood trim as interior colors.

Mechanically, the CT200h has a 5g/km of CO2 reduction to 82g/km of CO2 for the entry level S trim level with 15in wheels. Cars with 16in wheels are 6g/km of CO2 cleaner at 88g/km of CO2.

The suspension has also been revised for lower interior noise and enhanced aerodynamics. The body gets more spot welds and more adhesive to bond panels.

The F Sport trim gets a few upgrades of its own with a mesh grill, a roof spoiler, 10-spoike 17in wheels, doorsill plates, aluminum pedal covers and exclusive white color.

The refreshed CT200h will go on sale in Europe first in March 2014. Prices will be announced in January.
