Renault’s electric vehicles go virtual with Sims 3

The Renault electric vehicles range will be featuring in The Sims 3 PC/Mac, one of world’s most successful entertainment franchises, according to the agreement that has been announced between the French brand and Electronic Arts Inc.

Starting this Spring the Renault Twizy Z.E Concept car will be included in an ‘Electric Vehicle Pack’, available to download free of charge by The Sims 3 players. This special pack will also include other sustainable environmental items such as solar panels and windmill. The use of this items in will have positive consequences in the games as the families will see their weekly virtual household bills reduced.

This is the heartland of The Sims 3 community and it thus provides a great innovative way to build the Renault Brand just ahead of the Renault range of affordable electric vehicles themselves”, said Stephen Norman, SVP, Global Marketing for the Renault Group.
