The Seat 124 Sport Coupe was built from 1970 to 1975 with either a 1.6 liter engine or later a 1.8 liter engine. The car at Silvretta was built in 1972 with the 1.6 liter engine with 110ps and a top speed of 180km/h. The later 1.8 liter engine bumped power to 118ps. It uses a five-speed manual transmission with an independent front suspension and live rear axle. The chassis and engine were taken from the Fiat 124124Fiat 124Italy, 1966 > 198125 versions

. Seat built 23,000 Sport Coupes over the five-year production run. Seat built the 124 from 1968 to 1980 in sedan, wagon and coupe variants.

Over 160 classic cars are entered into the rally this year, and even more are entered in the Slivretta E-Car Rallye that will run at the same time. The rally runs through the Austrian states of Vorarlberg and Tyrol. The rally is not for speed but for time and distance. Each stage has a time limit that the cars have to try to hit exactly or incur penalties.
