Now, Cruise wants to bring his love of cars to the screen by producing a film based on the book Go Like Hell. The weirdest part is that Cruise may star as Carroll Shelby.
The film industry trade magazine Variety reports that Cruise and Oblivion director Joseph Kosinski are working with Fox to bring the book to the big screen, and that Cruise would reportedly be cast as Shelby. While the two men look nothing alike, that has never stood in the way of Hollywood in the past.
