is staying realistic about its performance at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday. Toto Wolff, Williams board member, says that the team is not letting its previous performance affect this coming race weekend.

"I think we should not set our expectations too high at this stage, because I think if you do that then you find out that at the track where you expected to be the most competitive, you are not," said Wolff.

The team is going to gauge performance on practice on Thursday and qualifying on Saturday and see how Maldonado, Senna and the car performs. There is no Friday practice at the Monaco Grand Prix.

However, the team is happy with its performance this season. Senna managed sixth in the Malaysian Grand Prix. Its technical director, Mike Coughlan, started with the team just nine months ago, and the team were surprised that he already had a victory.

"We are working with our drivers, who are young and who have not got so much experience, and what we saw in Spain is that we have a fantastic team, a very good car, a tremendous race strategy, courageous race strategy and a driver who was faultless, fast and intelligent," said Wolff.
