BMW Continues to Tease What is Likely X6M Diesel

BMW has posted a second video on Youtube teasing a new M model. It is clearly based on the X6, and since there is already an X6 M, this is likely the X6 M diesel that has been rumored for a little while. The video shows the car on the road and BMW executives repeating that this is a real M car. That seems like another hint that this is likely the first M diesel. 

How hard of a sell will this be for BMW? M is just a group of BMW engineers who are charged with making the highest performance versions of their cars. It does not matter if that car is powered by gasoline, diesel or even electricity. That BMW chose the X6 as the first M diesel shows that there might be some pause within the company. It can experiment with the X6 as a niche vehicle before it tries a more mainstream M3 diesel.
