. It released a teaser video yesterday evening showing off its next car, the 16C Galibier.

The video is actually quite funny. The narrator is reading a poem that has absolutely nothing to do with the car, while lights are passed over the Galibier from various angles. The vast difference between the two things makes you smile a little.

After the poem, the video shows the car's interior and exterior. While other automakers have been making retro-inspired models mostly from the 50s and 60s, it appears that the Galibier is looking back to the Art Deco period of streamlined cars, especially the iconic Bugatti Atlantic.

Like the Atlantic, the Galibier has a long hood that opens from either side. Due to safety it has a faux two-panel windscreen with a thin piece of chrome running down the inside, and like the Atlantic, the rear window is separated into two panes as well. The video shows that both the hood and rear wing will be electrically powered, and the car will come equipped with LED headlights that are also Art Deco-inspired. It shows the driver removing the clock from the car and placing it on a wristwatch to be able to wear anywhere. Previous images of the Galibier have shown it to have four doors, and this video clearly shows it able to seat four. Power will come from a 16 cylinder engine, but that is all that is known about the powerplant at this time.

Wow, seems impressive. I won't say the poem is not related to the car...
