As Cadillac is marking its new start in Europe, the brand brought to the Paris Motor Show its portfolio of model year 2011 vehicles, which include the CTS Coupe, the CTS Sport Wagon and the SRX Crossover. These cars will be available to order through Cadillac’s newly established retailer network, which consists of roughly 40 fully authorized dealers in key European markets.
Wolfgang Schubert, Cadillac Europe Managing Director, is pleased with the progress the company is making in developing its retail and service network: “Cadillac believes strongly that luxury markets will continue to grow outside the US – including Europe – and we intend to continue our participation in those luxury growth markets.”
Schubert says that since the announcement of Cadillac’s return to Europe at the Geneva Motor Show, the brand has made a huge progress. “We are proud to present a strong product lineup here in Paris, showing that Cadillac is here to stay as a serious competitor in the premium market. The focal point of our activities in Europe is of course a robust sales and service network. We want to make sure that Cadillac customers in Europe can rely on a service which is appropriate for a premium brand,” said Schubert.
Founded in 1902, the Caddillac Atomobile Company has been part of the General Motors Organization since 1909, becoming in the years to follow Americas leading automotive luxury brand. Throughout the years Cadillac has been famous for the styling of its vehicles creating an aura of dream cars.
With an expressive design language, the new generation Cadillac will reach the European market offering technology developed for its customer’s tastes.
At the Paris Motor Show the new 564 hp CTS Coupe is celebrating its European debut. The car combines the strong design character with Caddilac’s most potent and sophisticated technology.
Another model featuring at the Parisian motor show is the 2011 CTS Sport Wagon which will become immediately available on the European markets. Powered by direct injected 3.0l and 3.6l V6 engines, the model offers better fuel economy and lower emissions.
Finally, also featuring in Paris is the SRX crossover, which has received a whole new design combined with an efficient, high-technology engine. Fuel economy in the SRX is comparable with a mid-size family car.
