repeated last week's double victory in Bahrain and continued to be the only team to win this season. This time around Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg fought until the end of the race, but the Brit eventually managed to hold his teammate and reach his second consecutive win of the season.
Sunday's race was also marked by a nasty crash involving Pastor Maldonado and Esteban Gutierrez. With the safety car entering with few laps to go, it turned out to be a fight for top spots in the last ten laps.
The two Mercedes drivers were once again the fastest of the pack and discussed among themselves the victory. With team orders making clear that it should be a clean fight, Lewis Hamilton jumped to first place at the start and although at the end it was Rosberg who had the fresher tires, the British driver managed to beat his team mate and cross the line in first place.
