with a more radical carbon fiber body. The only changes for the roadster are some carbon fiber roll hoops above the seats for a modicum of protection. It weighs 1,490kg (3,278lb) dry.
It uses the same 6.5-liter V12 with 740hp with a sequential manual transmission and all-wheel drive with a pushrod suspension. In the coupe, its enough to get to 60mph in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 220mph (355km/h). The figures for the convertible should be nearly identical.
You will be three times more likely to see a Veneno Roadster on the streets than a coupe. Lamborghini intends to build nine roadsters, while three coupes were made. Each car will run buyers €3.3 million, plus local taxes, and deliveries will begin in 2014. Orders are still open.
