The new Lamborghini SUV is to hit the market in 2018 and according to reports that have come out it will receive some tax benefits from the Italian government in order to be produced in Italy. The model should be built at Lamborghini's factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
However it was on the table for the model to be produced in Slovakia, in the same factory where the Q7Audi Q7 Gen.2Germany, 2015 > present8 versions

Bentayga. Tax incentives from the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and support from Invitalia, the national agency for investment and economic development, have been essential for keeping the model production in the country.
With this decision Lamborghini is already moving forward with an investment of several hundred million euros for a large increase of capacity of the Italian factory. The infrastructure area will almost double, from the current 80,000 squared meters to 150,000 square meters. In addition Lamborghini intends to hire 500 new employees.
Lamborghini's commercial goal for the Urus is to sell 3000 units per year. The Italian brand will sell it worldwide, but identifies US, UK, Middle East, China, Germany and Russia as key markets. This volume of production would mean doubling the current production of the Italian brand.
The Urus concept was first unveiled in 2012 at the Beijing Motor Show. The vehicle was produced with extensive use of carbon fiber and was powered with a turbo V10, combined with an electric motor mounted adjacent to the transmission.
