Lexus Making LFA Announcement on August 1

released a video today that hints that it has a big announcement about the LFALexus LFA Gen.0Japan, 2012 > present4 versions

due on August 1. The Unleash the LFA promotion seems to be a combination of a contest and a new edition. 

Not much is known about this promotion yet, and the video does not explain much either. The promotion part of Unleash the LFA gives one person in the US to go to Skip Barber Racing School for driving lessons and then go to Laguna Seca to lap the track in an LFA.

The reveal part is much less clear. Lexus has asked fans about where they would like to unleash the LFA on its Facebook page. Could Lexus be considering unveiling a special edition LFA as part of this promotion. 

Lexus has also set up a web site for Unleash the LFA, but as of this writing, it is not activated and asks for a username and password.
