. Besides some changes in terms of design, the engine range has also undergone changes, with increased power and reduced emissions.

In terms of design the main changes take place outside at the front. The new MINI Countryman gets a grille with a prominent scoop and a new crossbar. The model shall be optionally available with LED fogligths and will incorporate a ring of daytime lights.

The model will now be available in four new colors and the Cooper and Cooper S versions come standardly equipped with a set of five rim lighter wheels.

The new version of the Countryman Cooper S saw its power increased by 7hp compared to the previous version and now features 190hp. Thanks to the use of MINIMALISM technology and low rolling resistance tires, MINI has increased efficiency in the Countryman range, meeting Euro 6 standards. For example the Cooper S emissions dropped to 139g/km and consumption fell to 6.0l/100km. The most efficient version Cooper D emits just 111g/km and consumes 4.2l/100km.

The ALL4 all-wheel drive versions come equipped with metal plates built into the front and rear bumpers which give the vehicle a more rugged look. The plates are available as optional on front-drive versions.

The new Countryman will start being released to the market shortly after the official presentation at the New York Auto Show.
