PSA and Mitsubishi say that the production stop is temporary but will not say when production will resume. 

"This is a matter of PSA adjusting its orders to market demand. Our production total is lower than what we had originally hoped for," said a Mitsubishi Motors spokesman.

Since January, Citroën has sold 935 C-Zeros and Peugeot has sold 852 iOns. The 2010 deal between Mitsubishi and PSA stated that Mitsubishi would produce 100,000 electric cars for PSA. Since then Mitsubishi has built 28,000 electric cars including the i-MIEV.
