Renault have announced plans to issue an updated model of their first ever crossover vehicle, the Koleos. Principal improvements are revised styling and a more efficient selection of diesel engines.
Exterior changes include the replacement of air intakes at the front with a chrome grille, thinner headlights, LED indicators on the door mirrors, emphasised wheel arches, higher ground clearance and sportier wheels. A new body colour called Cayenne Orange is also to be made available. On the inside, updated trim and upholsteries feature as well as a different speedometer display.
Tweaking of the diesel engines and gearbox now means that the 150 hp dCi engine produces only 148g/km of CO2, while the 175 hp dCi produces 166g/km. This also means that the 150 hp engine is no longer subject to the eco-surtax in France. A 170 hp petrol engine will also be available.
The new model will be released later in the year.
