for roughly half the price. Since then the GT-R's price has grown a little each year, although performance has been tweaked as well. Nissan is planning a new generation of the GT-R in 2018.
Development is still in the early going, and Nissan plans to benchmark the car based on the next generation 911 TurboPorsche 911 Gen.6 [991 Series]Germany, 2011 > present110 versions

. It wants to beat both cars' lap time around the Nürburgring.
The head designer hinted that the next generation could use a hybrid like the NSX, but the hybrid system might be implemented even before the second generation, if the team deems it necessary.
In the meantime, Nissan plans to continue to develop the GT-R on the Nürburgring. In late 2013 or early 2014, the GT-R will get some refreshed styling.
