Nissan launching new Note Nismo

is enlarging the Nismo family, this time with a more radical version of the family model Note. The Note NismoNissan Note NismoJapan, 2014 > present is the fifth vehicle to be sold after the launches of the Juke, 370Z, GT-R, and March (Micra in Japan) versions. The newest Nismo model will hit the market this fall.

With the new Note Nismo, Nissan aims to satisfy customers looking for a more dynamic driving which never put aside fuel efficiency.

"Celebrating Nismo's 30th anniversary, we are planning to expand the number of models available in our road-car lineup. The Note Nismo we introduced today is truly symbolic to the Nismo brand in that it represents the fusion between motorsports that's embedded in Nismo's DNA and the success of the Note as a mass production vehicle", said NISMO President and CEO Shoichi Miyatani.

Nismo's Chief Product Specialist Hiroshi Tamura explained that the concept of development of the Note Nismo aimed to build a vehicle that people want to continue driving whatever the destination is.

Despite not revealing concrete specifications, Nissan says that the updates on the Note Nismo will increase the vehicle's performance in comparison to the standard model. Updates include engine technology, chassis, tires, suspension and aerodynamics based on the experience acquired by Nismo in motorsport. The Note Nismo will also be provided in a more efficient version, the S NismoNissan Note S NismoJapan, 2014 > present.

Another change can be spotted in the most aggressive level of design. The Note Nismo gets a new custom front grille, front bumper and rear bumper, side sills, a spoiler and electronic folding side mirrors. Of course the Nismo baging will also be present.

The new Note Nismo will also be offered in a series of seat variations.
