, Nico Rosberg won for the second straight year the Monaco Grand Prix. The German driver led the race from start to finish and withstood all attempts of an always nonconformist teammate Lewis Hamilton.
The rivalry between the two McLaren drivers was much in evidence this weekend and the strong competitive spirit of Hamilton may have even been his worst enemy, affecting a bit his concentration. The British driver even questioned the strategy of his team.
One thing was clear, Rosberg was always faster and did not have a more peaceful race due to the two safety cars that came out on firt part of the race. He had for much of the race Hamilton in his shadow, but at the end of the race the Brit fell behind. By then Red BullRed BullAustria, 2004 > present12 models

driver Daniel Ricciardo began to force the pace, which however was not enough to reach second place, getting short by 0.4 seconds.
His teammate, Sebastian Vettel, was again hampered by technical problems. The four-time German world champion had a good start to the race, in third place, but began to lose pace after the first restart after safety car. Despite some changes in the pits the team eventually told him to pull over and abandon.
Until the second safety car, Raikkonen seemed to be close to secure his first podium of the season. The FerrariFerrariItaly, 1947 > present233 models
