Hyundai's first generation i30 was a solidly okay car. It looked a little boring and did not get anyone's pulse racing, but it was not a bad vehicle. Hyundai is really shaking things up with the second generation i30 that will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show during its press conference on Tuesday, September 13.
Hyundai did not go into any specifics about engines or other updates for the new i30 but did show its totally redesigned exterior. For a C-class vehicle aimed at families, the new i30 is pretty attractive. The car's design is reminiscent of the Ford Focus and Opel Astra. As is the current style, the i30 has LED running lights but in this case along the front fog lights.
We will post more information about the new i30 following Hyundai's reveal of the car with specifications.
