on sale from the first time they showed the concept in 2007 at the North American International Auto Show. It appears that work on a higher performance version is moving much faster given that Subaru's performance arm STI has put two teaser images of a BRZ STI on its Website with the message "Coming Soon."
Unfortunately, there is no word on what the STI will contain or when we will see the car. We also do not know yet if this is being co-developed with Toyota or if STI has taken the further development on its own.
The only other teaser message about the car is "Purity of Handling." Hopefully, this does not mean that the STI will only be a handling package for the BRZ because if there is one problem that the BRZ had, it was absolutely not that it was a poor handler.
We are a month away from the beginning of auto show season. Subaru has already confirmed that it will show the WRC ConceptSubaru WRX ConceptJapan, 2013 > present17 photos

at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The next big shows will be the Tokyo Auto Show and LA Auto Show, which start on November 20 and November 22 respectively. The LA Auto Show confirmed last week that it would have a new car debut from Subaru, so maybe we will see the BRZ STI there.
