Volkswagen's stand brings spirit UP!

You thought you had seen it all in terms of what car stands in auto shows concerns? Well think twice because Volkswagen has created an enormous exhibition stand on Hall 3.0 with approximately 9,000 square meter.

On the stand Volkswagen will be exhibiting 54 vehicles and numerous technical presentations. The new urban up! is the big highlight at Frankfurt along the innovative Nils concept and a 30-meter “Innovation Wall” – a giant-size tablet PC. Visitors to the VW stand will also be able to test a fleet composed of 74 cars including nine electric-powered Golf blue-e-motion.

The new up! has it’s multi-media showroom, with other models featuring on the shiny white "carwalks" that crisscross the stand. To make the venue even more joyful a DJ sets the rhythm close to where you may found the 500 square meter Beetle “lounge” showroom

In the technology section the “Innovation Wall” is the core of the area. Giving a taste of tomorrow’s mobility and presenting innovative studies and alternative technologies, the giant-sized tablet PC creates virtual presentations around the real exhibits.

Outside Hall 3.0 the largest test fleet of any automaker at the IAA, with 74 vehicles, will be lined up giving guest the opportunity to try the entire Volkswagen product range

So for all of you heading to Frankfurt, think the VW stand is worthy of a visit from anyone attending the show.
