Rosberg takes comfortable win in Bahrain

Rosberg took the second win of the season

Nico Rosberg won the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday extending the championship lead over his team-mate Lewis Hamilton who finished third after a first-lap collision. The German has won two-in-two races so far this season. FerrariFerrariFerrariItaly, 1947 > present233 models

Once again Lewis Hamilton, who was starting from pole position failed to use his advantage and fell down the order to ninth after he was T-boned by Valtteri Bottas on Turn 1. Although he suffered some damage on his front wing, the Brit was still able to continue the race and crawled back up to third place, leaving the world reigning champion 17 points behind his team-mate. Nico Rosberg took advantage of this and had a comfortable race finishing 10.2 seconds ahead of Raikkonen who also had a poor start but never had enough pace to challenge the German's Mercedes. His team-mate Seabastian Vettel didn't even start the race as his Ferrari had an engine failure on the formation lap.
