Regera
The Regera is the first hybrid ever created by Koenigsegg and features a staggering combined output of 1806hp and 2150Nm of torque. The car combines a V8 engine and three electric motors, one on each rear wheel and one on the crankshaft.
In terms of design the Regera gets a softer front-end design compared to the one from the Agera. It features larger front air intakes, a front diffuser, wrap-around windscreen and prominent roof scoop. The rear gets an Akrapovic-developed exhaust, which exits from a rear diffuser. The Regera's charging port is placed just above that diffuser.
The Regera is equipped with large rear spoiler which contributes to a total downforce of 450kg at 250km/h. The hypercar runs on 19-inch carbonfibre wheels at the front and 20-inch units at the rear, with ventilated ceramic brake discs on all four corners.
With the Regera, Koenigsegg refers that it is launching the most powerful production car in existence, with the output of the hypercar clearly overtaking the McLaren P1Lotus Elan +2SUnited Kingdom, 1967 > present1 photo
