Coupes. BMW will start implementing its new naming scheme where odd numbered cars will be sedans and even numbered cars coupes and convertibles. It will also try to make the even numbered cars sportier than their odd numbered siblings.
The Concept 4 Series clearly takes the F30 3 Series as a starting place but with a pointier nose, swooping roof and a more rounded rear. The nose is low with a small grill and squinting headlights. The exterior is accented with aluminum trim.
The concept rides lower than a current 3 Series with a slightly wider track to improve stability and handling. The wheelbase is 50mm than the previous 3 Series coupeBMW 325i Coupe M SportGermany, 2010 > present1 photo
while track is 45mm wider in front and 80mm wider in the rear. Overall, the car is 44mm wider, and the roof sits 16mm lower. In a sporty touch, the rear fenders are the widest portions of the concept.
For the concept, BMW Individual outfitted the interior with incredibly high quality leather and wood covering the inside.
