The refreshed Z4 has a redesigned bumper with sharper angles, updated interior and new entry-level model. It gets three new exterior colors: Mineral Grey metallic, Glacier Silver metallic and Valencia Orange metallic. There is a new Hyper Orange package available only with the orange paint that adds orange trim in the seats and trim. There are also new 17in and 18in wheel designs. It gets standard xenon headlights with LED rings around the lights and LED turn signals.
The new model is the Z4 sDrive 18i that uses the same 2.0-liter engine from the sDrive 28iBMW Z4 Roadster 2.0 sDriv...Germany, 2011 > present1 photo
but tuned to 156hp. It will be available with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.
The interior gets standard gloss black trim. It also has more available driver assistance technology, mobility services and the Professional navigation system.
The updated car will go on sale in the spring.
BMW will also show two special edition versions of the 1 Series at NAIAS called the Limited Edition Lifestyle versions. The cars are based on the 1 Series Coupe and Convertible. Both get exclusive Mineral White metallic paint, 18in wheels, , brown leather interior and wood trim. The convertible also has a brown top with silver stitching. There are two other colors available for the special editions other than white.
