for the London Olympics. BMW first showed the Rocketman at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. It offers three doors and 3+1 seating and a chassis made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The updated version takes styling queues from the British flag.

On the outside, the Union Jack styling comes through in the dark blue, red and white color scheme. It also has a glass roof with an etched Union Jack on the roof. The grill is made of tiny MiniMINI (BMW)MINI (BMW)Germany, 2000 > present15 models

logos with metallic red paint that is also carried onto the roof. The majority of the body is painted dark blue with bright white trim including the exhaust.

Inside, the Rocketman carries the same color scheme. The seats are white, red and blue cloth. The dashboard uses the same colors but is covered in Alcantara. The door panels are covered in cities and years in white. The Rocketman has a unique instrument panel with simply a glass stalk sticking out of the steering column that displays rpms and speed; it also has raw carbon fiber around the floor revealing how it is built.

Mini will have the redesigned Rocketman on display during the Olympics. Previously, BMW had said that it had no plans to build the smaller Mini. Instead it is focusing on larger cars like a five-door version of the CooperMINI Gen.2 [56]MINI (BMW) MINI Gen.2 [56]Germany, 2007 > 201377 versions
